Our purpose

Our mission

FEZOCRADA — Fondation Émérite Zonfack Christian Rénovateur des âmes désespérées en Afrique — is a non-governmental organization with a social, educational and community mission. FEZOCRADA also works to empower vulnerable young people and/or those living with a disability.

Our purpose is simple: to lastingly improve the living conditions of young people with disabilities, where the needs are greatest. We believe a disability should never be a barrier to education, healthcare, dignified nutrition or an independent future.

To achieve this, we act on four complementary fronts: special education, food support, community health and economic empowerment.

The context

The context that drives us

  • 37% of Cameroon’s population lives in poverty
  • ~5% of the population live with a disability
  • 3.9% of national GDP only is spent on healthcare
  • 5th most populated region, West Cameroon remains one of the least served by NGOs

Behind these numbers are thousands of young people deprived of school, healthcare and opportunity. That is where we step in.

A few figures

Our impact at a glance

  • 500+ women trained in digital advertising through our online training programs
  • 4 integrated areas of action serving our beneficiaries
  • 12–17 years old: young people supported individually
  • 100% a model designed to become self-sustaining and replicable

Together, let’s change perceptions and reality.

Every donation, every hour of volunteering, every partnership helps a young person become autonomous, accomplished and fulfilled in society.
