Our Work

An integrated approach

We don’t believe in isolated solutions. Education without nutrition, healthcare without economic autonomy — none of these pillars stands alone. That is why FEZOCRADA acts across four interconnected areas, designed to reinforce one another and, over time, generate their own resources.

Our method is participatory (families are involved at every stage), inclusive (each intervention adapts to the beneficiary), community-based (we work with local actors) and sustainable (our activities help fund the project).

Special education

Education is the first lever for inclusion and personal growth. Our approach is fully personalized.

We begin with an individual assessment of each young person, taking into account the factors influencing their learning — individual, educational, social and family-related — as well as their personal interests. From there, we build a personalized intervention plan, tailored to each person’s needs and passions.

In practice, this means adapted educational support, artistic and cultural activities, life-skills training and ongoing psychosocial support.

What we aim for Stronger learning abilities, greater autonomy, improved self-esteem and genuine social inclusion.

Food support

Eating well is the foundation of everything else. Our approach is ecological and focused on self-production and local production.

We build partnerships with local producers (farmers, livestock breeders, agri-food businesses) and set up a community plantation and farm.

The food produced serves three purposes: distributing meals at our headquarters and in orphanages, supplying a food bank for people with disabilities and vulnerable people registered with us, and supplying the culinary-arts workshops of our special education program.

What we aim for Reducing food insecurity, improving nutritional health and strengthening community participation.

Community health

Access to care remains a major obstacle in Cameroon, even more so for vulnerable people. Healthcare is largely paid out of pocket by users, and only a small share of the population benefits from public health insurance.

Short term — health and awareness campaigns, with distribution of sanitary products.

Medium term — distribution of local consumables and regular health support.

Long term — creating a community health center and a dedicated service for the support and care of people with disabilities.

What we aim for Better access to care, fewer health problems and stronger prevention.

Economic empowerment

Our ultimate goal is autonomy — for the young people, their families and the project itself. Each of our pillars has the potential to generate income, which is reinvested in our mission.

This income comes from several sources: selling works from our artistic activities (ticketed events, exhibition-sales, online shop), membership fees, micro-trainings led by our professionals, low-cost sales of products from our farming and livestock activities, organizing exhibition-sale fairs for local producers, and registration fees during health campaigns.

What we aim for Creating sustainable income, reducing families’ financial dependency and ensuring FEZOCRADA’s long-term viability.

Beyond the four pillars

Our digital training program

Beyond our four main pillars, FEZOCRADA also works toward empowerment through digital skills.

We have trained over 500 women online in digital advertising, giving them concrete, sought-after skills to generate their own income. This achievement reflects our deepest conviction: to train is to free people lastingly. It also confirms our ability to design and deploy programs at scale, directly benefiting the people we serve.

Building on this experience, we plan to expand our training offering to new audiences and new fields.
